How to look at a stereo picture set

You may have noticed that there are different ways to look at stereo pictures. The easiest way to do so, is by looking at the stereo picture set in parallel. To this end, you must not try to focus on one picture of the set but rather look at both simultaneously.

This can be achieved by getting really close to the monitor and then by gradually adding more distance until you can see the stereoscopic picture set as one with depth information.

To make it easier, adjust the picture on the monitor so that pictures of the stereo set have at the same separation as your eyes (approximately 6,5 cm) or less. For zooming, press Ctrl and adjust the picture size with the mouse wheel.
